Ben Hixson grew up on the southern shore of Lake Erie in Sandusky, Ohio - and yes, he had a summer job at Cedar Point. God led him to believe the gospel as a child and led him into ministry involvement and education with a desire to help people grow in their relationship with God. Along the way, Ben married Ashton and they became parents to 4 incredible kids during a decade-plus of ministry in metro Cleveland and metro Detroit areas.
Ben loves to preach God's Word, pull-off community building events, and share meals with people. If he hasn't met you yet, he'd love to hear your story and begin praying for what God is doing. Ben is confident that every person was designed to know and enjoy God forever. So, together, Bethel H/P lives to glorify God and see our community transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
This is not a small vision and Bethel H/P is not a perfect family. So it's a good thing that we know and are empowered by God - who has created everything, is sustaining everything, and is doing the work of recreating His people in His kingdom.
