Help & Resources

We seek to empower and equip disciples of Jesus Christ to love their neighbors as Christ loved the church and gave himself
up for her (Ephesians 5:1-2) so that we can reach the lost and teach the found.

Bethel Harvest Market

Harvest Market is Bethel’s own food pantry. The pantry is open on Sunday mornings at Bethel Crown Point. Volunteers are needed to stock shelves, prepare bags of food, and interact with families that come on Sunday mornings.

Deaf Ministry

The Deaf Ministry offers sign language translation Sundays at Bethel Crown Point. Please request an interpreter 24 hours in advance. Through this ministry there are opportunities for volunteers to befriend and encourage a Deaf member of our community. Monthly Deaf Socials and ASL Bible Groups are also available.

Our UNLIMITED ministry strives to provide a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment where kids ages 5 through 6th grade, with special needs are included in worship at our Hobart/Portage campus. Each child will receive an Individualized Worship Plan (IWP) which will include accommodations and goals specific for them. If you are interested in having your child participate in the UNLIMITED ministry, please click HERE

Bethel Career Resource Network

Bethel Career Resource Network (BCRN) provides biblical teaching, interview skills, resume building, and a large network of potential employers. They need able-bodied volunteers to mentor and assist participants in finding a new job.
Adoption is a wonderful way to build a family! However, there are times when families and children encounter issues that have a profound effect on the entire family unit. We want to support families in a foundational biblical way through community.

Steps is a recovery and care ministry that exists to offer practical steps, care, encouragement, accountability, and community to anyone struggling with life hurts.
Steps will use the best of all programs, building on gospel truth and integrating the 12-steps as the basis for finding freedom and victory in Christ. We will have groups designed to tackle and overcome addiction, anxiety, marriage issues, depression, and a host of distress.

Steps will meet at the Crown Point campus on Monday evenings, beginning September 12, at 6:30pm. It will include a time of community, live large group teaching, and small group discussion and accountability each week. We are not offering a meal, but snacks and water will be provided. Masks are welcomed but not required. There will be a limited online option as well. We hope you will join us.

Counseling & Counseling Referrals

Some areas of life benefit from specialized care, whether it be pre-marriage mentoring, mental or emotional distress, or relationship struggles.
If you desire or require wise counsel, we hope to serve you in either counseling or a counseling referral.
Please fill out our intake application and one of our care and counseling team will respond with next steps.

City Life Center (CLC) is a place where hundreds of Gary children and their families thrive each year. Through CLC’s afterschool and summer programs, youth ages 5 to 15 years old find joy and excitement in learning, growing socially and emotionally, and building skills for self-sufficiency in the future.
The mission of The Women’s Center of Northwest Indiana is to act as ambassadors of Christ by promoting the value of unborn human life, and by ministering to women and their families who are abortion determined or vulnerable to abortion.
