Being a multi-campus congregation located in Northwest Indiana, we exist to glorify God by making fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ who worship and exalt him in all things. 

We strive to fulfill this purpose as we: devote ourselves to the preaching, study, and application of God’s Word; seek the Lord in earnest prayer; experience the power of authentic, life-changing fellowship; and engage our community and the world with the gospel.

Our vision is to see this area, the nation, and the world transformed by the gospel through preaching, ministries, and outreach.

Dexter Harris served as the Bethel Gary Director of Campus Life for three years before stepping into the Campus Pastor role in 2017. He is now serving towards advancement with racial reconciliation, justice, personal discipleship, and spreading a passion for Christ in the Northwest Indiana Region. He has a master's degree from Moody Bible Institute. Originally from Chicago, Dexter enjoys traveling, basketball, and hanging with those he loves. He and his wife Paige met in high school. They have been married since 2007 and have three children, Kyla, Dekai, and Lila. Dexter is known for his passionate exegetical preaching, highly relational pastoral ministry, and his service to the community of Gary.
