GO Trips

November 29, 2017

Bethel seeks to train and equip its members to engage others with the gospel, both locally and globally, through words and actions. Because of this, we want everyone at Bethel to be actively engaged in global ministry in three ways: Praying, Sending, and Going.

Short-term cross-cultural ministry trips (called “GO Trips”) cause connections and harmony in Christ between two cultures; allow opportunities to give and receive love; and increase the value of missions in a church, prayer and giving, and participation in long-term global ministry. These trips help advance or accelerate the work of established global partners and assist them in their ministry in an effective and beneficial way, not to replace what they or the national partners should be doing. Moreover, the team gains a better grasp of and zeal for missional living, particularly in a cross-cultural setting.
