Bethel Church

Pastor Steve DeWitt has had the joy of serving as Senior Pastor at Bethel for 14 years. His primary responsibilities at Bethel are teaching at our weekend services, shepherding the people of Bethel, leading the staff, serving as an Elder, and providing the overall vision of the church.

Steve's passions include expository preaching, the doctrines of grace, helping the church engage its culture, and the beauty of God. He often speaks in contexts outside Bethel and enjoys traveling abroad with Bethel's missions outreach.

In addition to weekends at Bethel, Steve's teaching ministry can be heard through Bethel's radio program The Journey. This half-hour program airs on Moody Radio Chicago (AM 1110) on Sundays at 8:30am as well as Indianapolis (AM 1470) on Sundays at 10:30am. A graduate of Cornerstone University and Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, Steve's general interests include sports of all kinds, rooting for University of Iowa athletics, playing the guitar, and traveling. He can be found regularly on golf courses across NW Indiana.
